We are seeking a PhD candidate (4 years, 40h/week) for the project: “Is recurring irrationality adaptively rational? The role of numeracy and adaptive strategy selection in decisions under risk and uncertainty.”
The successful candidate will work on a PhD thesis (in the field of judgment and decision making). The tasks will include developing ideas and hypotheses put forward in the research project, designing and conducting experiments, performing advanced data analysis (R, Matlab), preparing publications, conference presentations/posters, and attending scientific conferences.
The salary for this position is PLN 5,000 per month (gross) for the first two years, and PLN 6,000 per month (gross) for the next two years after a Ph.D. student’s mid-term evaluation is performed at the doctoral school. Additionally, we provide financial support for conducting studies that are research tasks in the project and attending conferences to present the results of the project.
